At any point, have you ever felt demotivated? What is your way of getting out that state?
“I don't lose motivation but I usually change my mentality from the normal state of competitive to a more relaxed and out of the program state. Sometimes, as an athlete we need to do this to remind us about the sole reason we started cycling which is “fun”. This is usually done after the competition season every year.”

Please give your 2 cents about the Indonesian cycling industry?
For the last 3 years, cycling has risen in popularity and become an activity that Indonesians have started getting into. From those people who started cycling as a way to get healthy during the pandemic, it has now become a routine, a hobby in fact which sees them looking for communities to increase how often they go cycling. Some even have gone to competitions which is great for the cycling industry. Cycling has developed a lot from the cyclists itself as well as the technology the bicycles hold. I hope this positive energy will encourage more people bring cycling to an international level and can make Indonesia's name flourish.”

Anything you think we can do better?
“To make one design based on research and trial and error testing from Comme so we can finally have a racing jersey that is infused with tech. For example, the word “aero” used in skin suits, socks, and shoe covers or “touring kit” for caps, wind vests, shoe cover for rain, long sleeve jerseys using warm material, and gloves.”
