Do you think that the value of community has a big impact in this cycling journey? Can you tell us more about it?

“Yes, undoubtedly the cycling community shares fundamental part of limitless values that involve in learning from one's experience, socializing and nurturing the existing cycling journey growth.”

How long has SSCC been forming this passionate journey? And, do you see yourselves as one of the growing communities?

“Started at the end of 2017, it's been 4 years and we believe SSCC is considered as one growing community. Through this extensive journey, we now have 61 active members also ideally known by other communities around.”

Can you tell us the unforgettable experiences in SSCC?

“There are lots of fascinating stories, two of the highlights were Fun Race Internal in 2021 that was attended at Sentul Circuit and our first racing participation at PIK 2 also in the same year.”

Do you think cycling will potentially create good impacts to our large society?

“Yes, some communities organize social activity supports, volunteering together to build a better environment within times also to encourage more green and traffic-free spaces. Most importantly, cycling has many benefits for our physical health.”

From the experiences, do you have any advice for others that are planning to build their own cycling club?

“The ability to share and to appreciate are two of the essential points inside a community. Stay humble, avoid personal politics in a club and lastly, keep calm and ride on.”

Learning through this long journey of SSCC, can you tell us the secret about having solid and strong sense of group commitment?

“We definitely believe in the equality and respect toward all the members. There is no group leader inside SSCC, everyone contributes in decision making process. Trust and communication are simply what keep us together.”
